Experience Safari Parks Where You Can Tour by Car or Bus
Located in Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture, this is an experiential safari park where visitors can observe and feed wildlife up close by riding in their own cars or safari buses upon entry. Home to approximately 500 animals spanning about 50 species, including lions, tigers, giraffes, and elephants, most of the animals are kept in a free-range environment.
Entry can be via the safari park’s buses or rental cars, or visitors can drive in with their own vehicles. If you opt for the “Wild Ride” bus, you can even participate in feeding the lions.
Moreover, there are interactive areas and walk-through sections where visitors can touch small animals and observe larger ones like tigers and elephants from outside, all available free of charge.
Peace of Mind Even on Rainy Days
At Nasu Safari Park, you can explore the park by car or bus, so there’s minimal impact from rain. Additionally, the petting area, where you can interact with animals like rabbits and alpacas, is covered, allowing you to enjoy animal encounters even on rainy days.
